Sandringham Scout Group held an Open Day with an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, 30th March. This was well attended and supported by the community and the Meerkats, Cubs,Scouts and Midgard Rover Crew.

The Easter egg hunt, Easter Games and Arts & Crafts activities were enjoyed by all, and the amazing Sonwaro Coffee was great appreciated

The Bushpigs and Riverhoigs patrol leaders ran a successful Patrol Camp, and showcased a standing patrol campsite built to PLTU standards. Plenty advancement was completed over the camp. More info will be published shortly about this camp.

The whole Easter Open Day event was planned by our Meerkat Den Leader, Marselle’ and her helpers, Ansie, Courtney and Marlene. Many hours of painting decorations, arranging Easter Egg donations and makign tons of flowers for the egg hunt section, but really proved to be an amazing day.

Thank you to the Midgard Rover Crew for all their assistance with runnign the tuckshop, assiting with the gateway build and generally proving that giving back to the Scouting community is a reward in itself.
