With the lockdown imposed in South Africa, all physical scouting had to stop.

We have continued both Cubs and Scouts using online platforms including Zoom, Teams and Discord.

Out “Virtual Scout Hall” in Discord offers a place for Cubs and Scouts alike to meet each Friday and participate in fun activities, give feedback on Advancement tasks and Interest Badges, and keep in contact with their Scouting Friends.

While not the same as physical Scouts, it does provide much need interaction with their six and patrol members, and fellow pack and troop mates. It’s all about SOCIAL DISTANCING and STAYING SAFE!
